With around 20 years of history and three albums recorded independently, Nhocuné Soul is a consolidated band in the Sao Paulo musical scene. The Band appeared in the 90ties in the district of Nhocuné (Vila Nhocuné) in east periphery side of São Paulo, a former slave quarters.
